About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. The role is located at 10901 Auto Square Dr., Cerritos, CA 90703-5331, and pays a starting rate of $19.25 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek. The position involves preparing vehicle interiors and exteriors, checking vehicle condition and safety items, fueling and staging vehicles, maintaining branch cleanliness, and assisting customers as needed. The role may include transporting customers to and from branches. The listed schedule includes shifts Sunday through Saturday. Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands, as well as other mobility and transportation services. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash areas, bathrooms, and lots.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
