About The Position

The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing new and used vehicles. This role involves both interior and exterior detailing, including engine compartments, and the application of protective treatments such as paint, leather, fabric, and rust protection. The position also requires maintaining tools, equipment, and the appearance of the facility. The Detailer will interact with customers and drive company and customer vehicles.

Requirements

• Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 25lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Computer knowledge preferred.
• Professional personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior of all vehicles, including the engine compartments.
• Apply paint, leather and/or fabric protection.
• Apply rust protection/undercoating as required.
• Help to maintain all tools and equipment used.
• Help to maintain the appearance of the property in and around the facility.
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by the manager.
