About The Position

The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and preparing customer and dealership vehicles to the highest standards of appearance. This position ensures vehicles are thoroughly cleaned inside and out, helping deliver an exceptional customer experience and maintaining dealership presentation standards.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive detailing experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and vehicles.
  • Knowledge of automotive cleaning products and detailing techniques.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
  • Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, and windows.
  • Apply protective treatments to vehicle surfaces as needed.
  • Remove stains, odors, and debris from vehicles.
  • Clean engine compartments and wheel wells when required.
  • Prepare new and used vehicles for delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail department and work area.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and report findings to management.
  • Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property.
  • Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain proper use and storage of detailing equipment and chemicals.
  • Assist with lot presentation and vehicle inventory appearance as needed.
  • Support service and sales departments with vehicle preparation requests.
