About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a Part-Time and/or Full-Time Automotive Detailer at its Lima, Ohio location. The position pays $16 per hour, based on either a 25-hour part-time or 40-hour full-time workweek. The detailer washes, cleans, sanitizes, inspects, and prepares cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, helping uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards.

The role also includes vehicle checks and preparation, fueling and staging vehicles, maintaining a clean work area and branch appearance, and assisting customers when needed. The detailer may transport customers to and from branches. Available schedules include full-time shifts Monday through Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with Sunday and Thursday off; or one of two part-time schedules, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset or restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and other areas; vacuum and sweep the lot; and perform other daily cleanliness tasks.
• Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
