About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. The role is located at 815 E El Camino Real, Sunnyvale, CA 94087, pays $19 per hour, and requires a valid California driver's license. The listed schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with alternating Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands, among other mobility services. The company and its affiliate Enterprise Fleet Management manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 staffed rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; assess tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, and tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Use tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and other areas; vacuuming and sweeping the lot; and completing related daily cleaning tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
