About The Position

At Ever, we're transforming the way people buy electric vehicles by delivering a premium customer experience from start to finish. Every vehicle that reaches our showroom or customer has gone through a meticulous inspection and reconditioning process. As an Automotive Detailer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every vehicle looks its absolute best before it reaches its next owner. We're looking for an experienced Automotive Detailer who takes pride in producing showroom-quality vehicles. This role is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and preparing vehicles throughout the reconditioning process while maintaining Ever's high cosmetic standards. The ideal candidate has professional detailing experience, excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of professional automotive detailing experience.
  • Experience detailing a high volume of vehicles in a dealership, reconditioning center, fleet, or automotive environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive detailing chemicals, products, equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Experience operating buffers, polishers, extractors, pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other detailing equipment.
  • Ability to identify cosmetic defects and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Operations team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience detailing luxury or electric vehicles.
  • Paint correction and ceramic coating experience.
  • Knowledge of dealership or used vehicle reconditioning processes.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing to showroom standards.
  • Wash, dry, clay bar, polish, wax, and apply protective coatings when required.
  • Vacuum, shampoo carpets, clean upholstery, condition leather, and sanitize interiors.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, door jambs, wheels, wheel wells, and engine compartments as appropriate.
  • Remove light stains, water spots, adhesive residue, and minor cosmetic imperfections.
  • Operate buffers, polishers, extractors, steam cleaners, pressure washers, and other detailing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure Ever's quality standards are met.
  • Identify cosmetic issues requiring additional repair or paint correction and communicate findings to the recon team.
  • Prepare vehicles for photography, showroom display, customer delivery, and transport.
  • Maintain detailing equipment and ensure chemicals, tools, and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
  • Support vehicle movement and other reconditioning activities as needed.
  • Consistently meet daily production, quality, and turnaround goals.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
