About The Position

The Automotive Detail Technician is responsible for ensuring vehicles are meticulously cleaned and prepared to meet customer and organizational standards. This role involves a range of detailing tasks, from exterior washing and waxing to interior cleaning and refurbishing components like headlights. The technician must maintain high standards of service quality, understand and fulfill specific customer requirements, and conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections. Additionally, maintaining the proper function of service tools and equipment is a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

Previous detail experience preferred
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspect the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
