About The Position

The Automotive Detail Lead is responsible for maintaining the quality of work performed by All-Pro, maximizing the efficiency and development of locations. This role involves cleaning and detailing vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, waxing, and applying protective sealant to maintain their appearance and condition. The Detail Lead ensures all service calls and customer emergencies are handled promptly and professionally. They are also responsible for creating and maintaining a work environment where employees have the necessary tools, resources, training, and support to operate efficiently and effectively. The position requires staying updated on new products and techniques, informing the Area Manager, and maintaining appropriate onsite supply quantities. The Detail Lead will hold meetings with associates to discuss issues, daily goals, and constraints, and work with the Lot Coordinator/Area Manager to ensure proper staffing. They will create and maintain weekly schedules, optimize them as needed, and ensure proper end-of-day checkout procedures are followed. Reinforcing standards for professionalism, appearance, vehicle care, work ethic, and customer service is crucial. This role directly handles recruiting, hiring, training, and performance management of detail associates, and requires daily communication with the Lot Coordinator/Area Manager. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Automotive detail experience required
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening
  • Willing to work in a fast paced environment with changing needs & priorities
  • Positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the quality of work performed by All-Pro

  • Ensure all service calls and customer emergencies are handled promptly and professionally
  • Create and maintain a work environment where employees have the tools, resources, training, and support necessary to operate in the most efficient and effective manner
  • Keep up with new products and techniques available and inform Area Manager
  • Maintain appropriate onsite supply quantities per location as directed by Area Manager
  • Hold meetings with all associates to discuss issues, daily goals and constraints
  • Work with Lot Coordinator/Area Manager to ensure proper staffing in place to handle current and new business
  • Create and maintain weekly schedules and optimize as needed
  • Ensure proper end of day check out procedures are followed at each location
  • Reinforce standards for professionalism, appearance, vehicle, work ethic, customer service, etc.
  • Directly process recruiting, hiring training, and performance management of detail associates
  • Communicate daily with Lot Coordinator/Area Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned
