About The Position

Thomas Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Dealership Biller to join its Kia dealership team in Northwest Indiana. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment. They take ownership of their responsibilities, meet deadlines, and understand the importance of accuracy in dealership accounting.

The role processes and bills new and used vehicle deals, reviews deal jackets and documentation, verifies contracts and deal figures, processes vehicle sales transactions in the dealership management system, and coordinates with sales, finance, and accounting to resolve discrepancies. It also maintains accurate records, ensures timely deal processing, and assists with other accounting and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous automotive dealership billing experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of dealership accounting procedures and vehicle sales documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process and bill new and used vehicle deals accurately and efficiently.
• Review deal jackets for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation.
• Verify contracts, vehicle information, rebates, incentives, and deal figures.
• Process vehicle sales transactions within the dealership management system.
• Work with sales, finance, and accounting departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of all deals.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed.
