About The Position

The Deal Processor is responsible for accurately processing vehicle deals, completing title and registration paperwork, maintaining billing and accounting records, and ensuring all dealership transactions are properly documented and processed in a timely manner. In this role, you get to... Process and review completed vehicle deals for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization. Enter and maintain deal information in dealership accounting and DMS systems. Ensure completed deals are processed and posted accurately and within established timelines. Prepare, process, and maintain vehicle title and registration paperwork in accordance with dealership procedures and applicable state requirements. Review titles, registrations, lien information, odometer statements, powers of attorney, and other required documents for accuracy and completeness. Process and post customer payments and dealership receipts. Research and resolve billing and accounting discrepancies. Assist with month-end billing and accounting procedures. Communicate professionally with customers, lenders, vendors, sales, finance, service, parts, and management regarding deal processing, billing, title work, and documentation. Assist with warranty, parts, service, and other dealership-related billing as needed. Maintain confidentiality of customer, financial, and company information. Assist with cashier and telephone duties as needed. Provide general administrative and clerical support to the dealership as directed. Maintain a professional appearance and clean, organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, forms, instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, missing information, and errors and follow through to resolution.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales personnel, lenders, vendors, and management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling customer, financial, and personal information.
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as taxes, fees, discounts, payments, and commissions.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks with manual dexterity.

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test.
