Automotive Deal Auditor
About The Position
Capital Automotive Group is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Deal Auditor to join our team! In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring vehicle sales and lease transactions are accurate, complete, and processed in accordance with company and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, catching the little details, and keeping thins moving in a fast-paced dealership environment. You'll work closely with our sales and accounting teams to review deals, verify documentation, process transactions, and help ensure everything balances correctly.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable working with numbers, financial information, and detailed documentation
- Must be able to successfully complete required pre-employment background screenings
Nice To Haves
- Previous dealership or automotive experience preferred
- Experience with CDK or other dealership management systems is a plus
- Accounting, finance, or deal processing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Process, review, and post vehicle sales and lease deals
- Review deal jackets and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Balance debits and credits and verify deal calculations
- Ensure schedules and transactions are submitted and processed accurately and on time
- Work closely with the Sales Department to obtain missing or corrected documentation
- Calculate and post sales commissions
- Review bank contracts and deal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with month-end reporting for Accounting Managers and dealership locations
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and customer information
- Identify discrepancies and work with the appropriate departments to resolve them
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
