About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Parts Puller/ Automotive Core Technician who knows automotive parts, is comfortable using tools, and enjoys staying active. You don’t have to be a master mechanic—if you have automotive knowledge, mechanical ability, and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Automotive parts knowledge and basic mechanical ability.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
Customer-service skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Ability to safely work with limited supervision and follow established procedures.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Comfortable working outdoors in an industrial automotive environment in varying weather conditions.
Basic computer/mobile device skills.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate company yard vehicles as required by the position.

Nice To Haves

Automotive repair, maintenance, parts removal, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Remove automotive cores, air bags, and other designated parts from vehicles using hand and power tools.
Pull automotive parts from vehicles for customers through our Customer Part Pulling Program.
Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on your tools and equipment.
Maintain wheelbarrows and engine hoists, that are used by customers daily.
Keep retail stocked with batteries and tires. This includes charging batteries and de-rimming tires.
Assist customers with locating and transporting larger automotive parts to the check-out area.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements.
