We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic Automotive Controller to step into a pivotal executive role overseeing financial operations for three elite luxury automotive franchises in Hampton, VA. This isn't just a back-office numbers role—you will be a key strategic partner to our leadership team, guiding operational growth, shaping financial strategy, and leading a dedicated accounting team in a supportive, culture-first environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Dealership Controller (multi-brand or multi-location experience preferred; luxury experience is a major plus).
• Mastery of major Automotive DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or Dealertrack) and advanced Excel skills.
• Deep mastery of dealership accounting schedules, OEM reporting standards, cash management, and payroll compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead with clarity, confidence, and warmth.

Nice To Haves

• Multi-brand or multi-location experience preferred.
• Luxury experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, ensuring precise monthly closings and OEM financial reporting across our 3 luxury franchises.
• Mentor and lead our dealership office team, building a collaborative culture centered on accuracy, transparency, and personal growth.
• Maintain bulletproof internal controls, oversee cash flow, manage floor plans, and optimize contracts-in-transit.
• Collaborate directly with Sales, Service, and Parts Directors to analyze performance metrics, spot opportunities, and plug profit leaks.
• Direct annual tax preparation, coordinate external audits, and keep our financial house in top-tier shape.
