About The Position

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Center Manager for our partner dealers in Bradenton, Florida! This role is responsible for managing workflow, leading team members, ensuring vehicle quality, coordinating vendors, monitoring labor and supplies, maintaining operational reports, tracking KPIs, and keeping vehicles moving efficiently through the reconditioning process. The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership experience in automotive detailing, reconditioning, dealership operations, service, fleet, car wash, body shop, or auto auction environments. This person should be organized, quality-focused, comfortable holding teams accountable, and able to use reporting and performance metrics to improve production, efficiency, and overall center performance. Compensation is based on experience and negotiable.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in automotive reconditioning, detailing, dealership operations, service, fleet, car wash, body shop, auto auction, or related automotive operations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of detailing, reconditioning, cosmetic repair, vehicle readiness, and quality control.
  • Experience managing workflow, production goals, schedules, staffing, and team performance.
  • Ability to review reports, track KPIs, and use performance metrics to improve operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Reconditioning Manager, Detail Manager, Automotive Operations Manager, Service Manager, Car Wash Manager, Fleet Operations Manager, or Body Shop Supervisor.
  • Experience with labor tracking, cost control, vendor management, inventory, supplies, or operational reporting.
  • Familiarity with dealership systems, recon software, or production tracking tools.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily automotive reconditioning operations, including detailing, cosmetic repairs, inspections, and vehicle readiness.
  • Lead team members, assign work, manage workflow, and monitor production schedules.
  • Track KPIs such as vehicle turnaround time, completed units, labor efficiency, quality control, rework, and productivity.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet company and dealership standards.
  • Manage staffing, supplies, equipment, vendors, and operational costs.
  • Coach, train, and hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, safety, and quality.
  • Identify process improvements to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and support center performance.
