About The Position
Alpha One Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Shop Technician to join its collision repair team in La Grange, Texas. The technician will perform metal repairs, panel replacement, structural work, and refinishing preparation to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition and meet factory standards for safety, appearance, and performance. The position is full-time and in person, with a Monday-to-Saturday schedule. The facility is described as modern and fully equipped, and the role involves working independently and as part of a supportive team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in an automotive body or collision repair setting.
- Strong understanding of repair processes, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals.
- Attention to detail and commitment to precision workmanship.
- Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to commute to La Grange, Texas.

- I-CAR or OEM certifications.
- Painting and estimating experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening.
- Refinish and prepare surfaces for painting to OEM standards.
- Align and fit vehicle components such as doors, panels, and bumpers.
- Work with insurance adjusters and estimators to ensure repair accuracy.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all repair work performed.
- Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer safety and quality standards.
- Operate power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
