Requirements
- Two years of semiskilled experience in automotive body repair and painting in a commercial operation; or Completion of a high school vocational-technical program in automotive body repair from an accredited vocational trade school; or Completion of a post-secondary curriculum in automotive body repair from an accredited technical school.
- Possession of an active motor vehicle license.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Restore damaged or rusted auto equipment
- Replace or repair vehicle parts such as doors, fenders, seats, and flooring
- Install new windshield, side, or rear glass
- Mix paints, match colors, and apply coatings to equipment
- Record completed work, serviced equipment, time spent, and parts used
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures
