About The Position

Kunes Auto Group is hiring an Automotive Billing Clerk to support the accounting office. This role plays a critical part in ensuring vehicle deals are billed, posted, and documented accurately. You'll work closely with the Office Manager, Title Clerk, Finance team, and Sales team to manage the administrative and accounting steps that happen after a vehicle sale. We're open to candidates with automotive dealership billing experience as well as detail-oriented administrative or accounting professionals willing to learn the dealership accounting process.

Requirements

1+ years of experience as a billing clerk, deal processor, or dealership accounting clerk preferred
Prior experience working in an automotive dealership office a plus
Administrative, accounting support, or accounts payable/receivable experience also considered
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working with dealership systems and office software

Responsibilities

Review and process new and used vehicle sales documentation
Cost and post deals into the dealership management system
Verify deal structure, financial documents, and supporting paperwork for accuracy
Stock in new and used vehicle inventory
Post accounting entries related to vehicle deals
Process trade-in payoffs and dealer trades
Assist with warranty cancellations and related documentation
Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
Assist with scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate deal records
Collaborate closely with the Title Clerk, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure smooth, compliant deal processing
Support daily office operations and dealership accounting processes
