About The Position

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join their team in the Webster, NY area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States with over 2,000 retail locations. As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. This role involves enforcing policies and procedures, scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring job quality and timely completion, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining team member safety. The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. This role ensures customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance. The Service Manager directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, and stages vehicle repair/maintenance work. Key responsibilities include communicating with customers, assessing needs, providing information on repairs and maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction with their in-store experience, and striving to meet customer expectations while driving sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, OR
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, OR
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
