About The Position
Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join their team in Pike Road, AL. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States with over 2,000 retail locations. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in ensuring efficient, safe, and effective store operations. This includes enforcing policies, scheduling technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring job quality and timeliness, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining team member safety. The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections, recommending under-car repair services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely, high-quality repairs and maintenance. They direct the workflow of mechanics and technicians, stage repair work, drive sales initiatives, communicate with customers about their needs and recommended services, and strive to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, OR 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, OR any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

- Providing information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance
- Ensuring customers are satisfied with their in-store experience
