About The Position

You’ll love your position as an Experienced Automotive Apprentice: Inspect, diagnose and repair customer's vehicles. Work with a Master Technician on all service work orders to complete work efficiently and accurately. Test drive vehicles for diagnosing issues and tracing any problems. Consult and notify the service team if additional work is required or if the repairs can't be completed in the anticipated timeline. Obtain parts from the parts department and return parts as required. Collaborate with other team members to complete repairs and meet customer expectations. Support maintaining a clean shop at all times and complete maintenance as required. Follow all company policies, processes and health and safety requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Registered Automotive Apprentice with at least 1-2 years of car dealership experience
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair tools, software and techniques
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use diagnostic software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and/or instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Ability to work independently and a part of a team
  • Valid G Driver’s License and a Clean Abstract
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs at a time
  • Open availability

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to drive manual vehicles is an asset
