About The Position

EchoPark Automotive, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking an Automotive Apprentice Buyer for its new dealership in Orlando, Florida. The apprentice will learn to support the timely valuation and processing of used-vehicle inventory. The position requires effective communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of retail and wholesale automobile sales processes.
• Excellent analytical and valuation skills, with a strong process orientation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Clean motor vehicle and criminal background records.

Nice To Haves

• Management or prior purchasing experience is preferred.
• Experience with web-based search applications and tablet technology.

Responsibilities

• Learn to obtain used-car inventory through the consumer purchasing process.
• Learn to set and price vehicles.
• Understand vehicle reconditioning costs.
• Make financial decisions.
• Process car deals and enter customer information.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
