About The Position

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Buyer for its Acquisition Team, based in Owings Mill, Maryland. The buyer obtains used-car inventory through customer and street purchases and ensures timely vehicle valuation and processing. The role involves setting and negotiating prices, assessing reconditioning costs, and making financially sound purchasing decisions. The successful candidate is self-sufficient, analytical, comfortable in a consumer-facing environment, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while communicating well.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of retail and wholesale automobile sales processes.
• Excellent analytical and valuation skills, with a strong process orientation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with web-based search applications and tablet technology.
• Clean motor vehicle and criminal background records.
