Automotive ADAS Calibration Technician Apprentice
About The Position
Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice for a paid apprenticeship. The apprentice receives mentorship and training to learn to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) calibrations according to original equipment manufacturer specifications and repair standards. Training includes initial instruction from Protech, support from a virtual team, and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal is to advance the apprentice to a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration role by the end of the seventh month. The position provides hands-on experience in a production shop.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company's insurance policy.
- Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background and motor vehicle record checks.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Be able to perform physical activities including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
- Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive experience.
Responsibilities
- Learn to perform a wide range of ADAS calibrations in accordance with OE specifications and repair standards.
- Participate in mentorship, initial training, virtual support, and continuing education on new vehicle technology.
- Progress toward a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration role by the end of the seventh month.
