About The Position

PBS is seeking an Automotive Accounting Software Onboarding Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on delivering effective training and transition support to customers on the PBS v10 Apex Software, specifically within the Accounting silo. The specialist will help customers successfully deploy and adopt the software, ensuring they gain the necessary knowledge and confidence to integrate it into their daily workflows. Through virtual training sessions, the specialist will support customers throughout implementation and beyond, driving product adoption, reinforcing best practices, and ensuring long-term success. The role requires developing a thorough understanding of all software modules and supporting customers throughout the deployment and adoption process.

Requirements

Accounting Experience
1-2 years’ experience in a car dealership environment preferred, with a focus on accounting operations
Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools is essential!
Excellent communication skills, including presentation and public speaking
Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
Strong documentation abilities
Effective time management and organizational skills
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks without direction
High School Diploma

Responsibilities

Support customers in improving operational efficiency and workflow consistency through effective use of PBS v10 Apex
Learn and develop an understanding of all areas of the PBS v10 Apex software and the process for training customers on the PBS v10 Apex software
Assist customers with the deployment, transition, and adoption of PBS v10 Apex, helping integrate the software into daily dealership operations
Deliver virtual training sessions to customers within assigned module(s)
Drive product adoption by reinforcing best practices, encouraging engagement, and helping customers fully utilize PBS v10 Apex capabilities
Follow up with customers post-training to support retention, adoption, and long-term success with the software
Identify gaps in customer usage or understanding and provide guidance to improve confidence, efficiency, and overall adoption
Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying customer needs and ensuring they are being met
Responds to internal and external training requests in a timely manner
Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, escalate issues to corresponding teams
Ensure v10 Apex queue is monitored
Maintain documentation and update as processes change within department
Knowledge sharing within own module and others within the v10 Apex team
Take the initiative to learn new products to increase knowledge
Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
