Job Duties Program and maintain robots and automated equipment to comply with customer specifications (gate cutting, injection, sonic welding). Program and/or maintain all control devices (PLCs, Control Panels, HMI’s, Motor Controllers). Troubleshoot and repair all automated equipment to maintain productivity on a day-to-day basis (Controls, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Transfers). Assist in engineering quality, productivity, and reliability (Continuous Improvement, Tracking cycle time). Maintain and monitor proper safe operations of all equipment. Maintain safe working habits. Maintain all equipment through preventative maintenance procedures. Reporting day-to-day activities to supervisors. Updating all related documents. Ensure good housekeeping is kept up on the shop floor. EOA / Machine start-up. EOA7 / build. Back-up programs (Robot, PLC). Bowl feeder integration. The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005. The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) as stated in CQAM.00001 – Corporate Quality Manual.

Requirements

  • University Degree/College Diploma in a related field (Electromechanical Engineering Technician, Electronics/Electrician Technician, or Technology Diploma) 2 year program.
  • Minimum 1 year ABB/NACHI/FANUC Robot programming experience.
  • Good communication (Read and comprehend instructions).
  • Organizational and dexterity skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of components and materials used in the production process.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75lb
