Requirements

Possesses comprehensive knowledge of nomenclature and product knowledge to facilitate the accurate as well as efficient reading of paperwork.
Ability to push and pull carts that are loaded with or without product.
Ability to read and understand the computer screen.
Ability to read labels and assures parts are unloaded properly from the automation line and loaded properly into a cart.
Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
Inspects parts to ensure it meets specifications and corrects problems or prepares green slips for rework.
Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.

Responsibilities

Unloading cabinet components from the automation line.
Inspecting components for accuracy and defects.
Loading components into a cart.
Transferring components to one of multiple locations depending on product type and next step in the process.
Prioritizing work by job number, green slip or OCS.
Creating green slips for parts which must be remade.
Performing final inspection of cabinet parts per job to verify quality of product produced.
Bringing product issues and material concerns to manager to ensure meeting production needs.
Ensuring optimum machine performance by performing various preventive machine maintenance operations such as cleaning machinery.
Demonstrating self-motivation in the timely completion of daily/weekly assignments.
Maintaining a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.

Fills in other areas as needed.
