About The Position
As a Senior Automation Tester, you understand the critical role of high‑quality testing in delivering reliable solutions quickly and at scale. We’re looking for someone like you to help ensure that essential software reaches users with exceptional quality and resilience. As a Senior Automation Tester at Booz Allen, you will focus on validating the integration of tactical software capabilities within robust cloud environments. In this role, you’ll bring deep experience in automated testing, cloud architectures, and modern testing frameworks to support and modernize government financial systems. You will develop, enhance, and run automated tests that validate scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that meet the rigorous performance, compliance, and security requirements of public sector financial operations. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an automation tester supporting cloud‑based applications
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Terraform-based environments
- Experience testing event‑driven or streaming platforms such as Kafka, Confluent, RedPanda, and AWS MKS
- Experience in cloud‑native application testing, security validation, and integration testing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Kubernetes-native infrastructure tools such as Crossplane
- Experience supporting or modernizing financial systems
- Experience testing workloads in multi‑cloud environments
- Experience with Chaos Engineering or SRE testing principles
- Associate or Professional AWS, GCP, or Azure Certifications
