About The Position

The Automation Test Lead, described in the posting as a Quality Engineering Lead, owns the end-to-end testing lifecycle for software products, from strategy through release, to ensure quality, reliability, and on-time delivery. The role partners with developers, product managers, and business analysts to define testing requirements, implement automation strategies, accelerate delivery, and reduce manual testing overhead. It also anticipates post-production risks related to technology or environment changes and works proactively with support teams to address them before they become production incidents. The lead manages a globally distributed QE team and structures work, communications, and collaboration across time zones. Business and Development stakeholders are US-based; depending on team structure, the lead may be the primary or only QE presence during US business hours and is expected to contribute directly when needed, including during deployments in US afternoon or evening windows. The role champions Quality Engineering strategy, modern test automation, and AI-assisted testing practices. This is an onsite, long-term contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana, starting at 12 months with multiple extensions. The employer is Bright Vision Technologies, a technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States.
