About The Position

The Senior Automation Testing Lead will lead the effort to build automation testing in support of the Managed Care Transition Project. The role supports a critical system being developed in-house at the State and involves assessing requirements for testability, designing and executing tests, and reviewing and reporting results. The lead will work with end users to ensure user acceptance testing is thorough and complete, collaborate with business teams on Business and QA documents, and work independently while prioritizing concurrent deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience developing and executing test scripts related to X12 EDI transmissions, such as 837i, 839, and NCPDP D.0.
• At least 2 years of demonstrated proficiency conducting QA and testing on EDI applications.
• At least 5 years of experience assessing requirements for testability and developing test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
• At least 5 years of experience executing functional, integration, and regression tests.
• At least 3 years of experience with healthcare claims processing testing.
• At least 3 years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and reporting test results.
• At least 3 years of experience testing web applications.
• At least 2 years of experience developing SQL queries.
• At least 1 year of experience scripting automated test suites.
• At least 2 years of experience working with business teams to write Business and QA documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to technical and business audiences.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, and prioritize concurrent deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with test and defect management tools such as HP ALM and JIRA.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, with 2 years of experience listed as highly desired.

Responsibilities
