About The Position

We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks to validate our software and system solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including development, DevOps, and systems engineering—to streamline testing processes, improve quality assurance practices, and drive continuous integration and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of software testing, with a focus on test automation, experience
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit)
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing embedded systems or hardware-integrated software
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
  • TS/SCI w/ poly clearance

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Develop and execute test plans for functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the lifecycle
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to engineering teams
  • Champion best practices for test automation, version control, and documentation
  • Contribute to overall product quality by promoting test-driven development (TDD) and continuous testing strategies
