The machinist, automation, is responsible for welding and fabricating components used in blow mold machine manufacturing. This role involves laying out, fitting, and fabricating steel components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies, producing high-quality welds on all products and assemblies using MIG/TIG/Stick Welding. The technician will read and interpret blueprints, product specifications, work instructions, and parts lists, while also understanding and accurately interpreting measurements and dimensions. Responsibilities include resolving assembly and production out-of-spec occurrences, completing preventive maintenance of work areas and assigned equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing repairs as needed. The technician is responsible for the product quality of all fabricated components and assemblies. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
