Automation Technician (Midnight Shift)
About The Position
ZF is a global technology company supplying systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology. We are currently recruiting for a midnight shift Assembly/CNC Technician at our Fowlerville plant home to the global production of Gen1 Integrated Brake Control (IBC) systems that offer excellent responsiveness for automatic emergency braking and power regeneration for vehicle electrification. ZF Fowlerville is a powerhouse of lean manufacturing, shipping up to 6,500 brake units each day and handling 58 million components a month.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years related mechanical or electrical experience
- Applicable apprenticeship or in-house training program preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform highly skilled corrective machinery/tool maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of robotic systems, PLC, vision systems, pneumatics, and more
- Perform preventative maintenance programs on production equipment (i.e., cleaning, retooling, oil-changing, calibrating, aligning, etc.)
- Assist in process improvements
