About The Position

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, delivering sustainable innovations that elevate everyday products. This role involves controlling or operating machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. The Production Operator for Liquid Compounding Chemical Operator will package and filter finished goods, replenish raw material inventory, and perform chemical blending, including manual dispensing of flavor chemicals and combining with automatically dispensed materials. The position is located in South Brunswick, USA, and operates on the midnight shift (11:30 PM - 7:50 AM) Monday-Friday.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent
Ability to wear respirator
Ability to operate forklift and other equipment
Ability to be exposed to heavy machinery and electrical currents
Ability to stand for 8 hours per day
Ability to handle 200 kg drums and 50 kg bags
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Basic math, reading and computer skills
SAP, Camelot and Marco experience
Ability to multi-task
English fluency
Prior chemical process manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

Compound as required by production demand by following shop floor precisely as instructed to do so by shop floor papers.
Responsible for safe operation of fork lift and all material handling equipment within the work area.
Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment and proactively improve the safety culture of the department.
Maintain processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and presentable condition; adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and exemplary housekeeping standards.
Ability and willingness to work as part of a team to solve problems, develop procedures, and recommend improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned, including other departments as needed.
