Perform varied and complex duties and tasks related to service, repair, and general maintenance of high-speed robotic and automation systems. This role involves electrical repairs, troubleshooting microprocessors, and installation, wiring, and programming of PLCs for smaller in-house automation systems. The technician will also work with vendors during installs, modifications, and offsite support, and collaborate with maintenance and process technicians during machine downtime. Responsibilities include providing technical support to engineering and vendors throughout the design and project completion phases, writing and programming camera vision systems for quality control, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation systems, reduce scrap, and minimize downtime. All employees must adhere to Quality Food Safety Management System (QFSMS) policies and procedures and report any QFSMS issues to a supervisor.
