Based out of our Sidney, OH location, you will play a hands-on role in shaping the future of manufacturing. In this position, you will work with cutting-edge automation technologies to support strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement across multiple facilities. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field OR 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and schematics for troubleshooting and installation
  • Proven experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs
  • Industrial robots (FANUC preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard PC applications
  • Ability to travel up to ~20%
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided with this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical
  • Familiarity with industrial communication networks (EtherNet/IP, AS-i preferred)
  • Exposure to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) (MiR preferred)
  • Familiarity with Ignition software application

Responsibilities

  • Execute and support AMT automation projects, with a strong focus on industrial controls integration
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and FANUC robotic systems
  • Install, upgrade, and modify controls hardware and software systems
  • Lead and support equipment installation, system integration, and commissioning
  • Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing plants to resolve production-impacting issues
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and plant teams to ensure project success
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and personal development
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
