About The Position
Rinvio is hiring an Automation Tech / PLC Tech for an industrial skilled-trades role in the Davenport, IA market. This is an hourly contract role; exact client and site details are shared only with qualified candidates. The primary scope includes PLC troubleshooting, automation support, instrumentation, drives, HMI support, and plant controls reliability.
Requirements
- PLC, automation, industrial controls, or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Hands-on troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, or similar controls platforms
- Able to read schematics, work safely around production equipment, and communicate clearly with plant teams
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, control panels, and automated production equipment.
- Support downtime response, preventive maintenance, controls changes, documentation updates, and startup support.
- Work with electricians, mechanics, engineering, operations, and vendors to resolve automation issues quickly.
