Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 1 year technical school, or 4 years on the job training in an industrial maintenance environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical and PLC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment to diagnose source of problems, determining parts and estimated time frame to complete repairs
- Experience trouble shooting wiring diagrams and PLC controls
- Must have experience working with automated equipment including conveyor systems, pickers, cranes, saws, etc…
- Full understanding of safety systems related to operations of automated systems
- Must be familiar with working safely around high and low voltage systems and be familiar with lockout/tagout procedures
- Able to perform inspections/maintenance at varying heights up to 80 feet
