About The Position

US Farathane is seeking an Automation Setter to maintain automated systems and optimize production processes. The role supports plastics manufacturing for the automotive industry and involves connecting, moving, and setting up secondary equipment for production runs, as well as addressing basic automation issues and maintaining safe, high-quality processes.

Requirements

Forklift certification; forklift experience is required.
Data-entry and computer skills.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Detail-oriented, with a focus on precision in automation setup.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to ensure proper product quality.
Verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Connect and disconnect secondary equipment, including power, air, and communication connections.
Move secondary equipment from storage to the corresponding press and return it after each finished run.
Complete the machine checklist and set up the machine for each run.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automation equipment, including minor sensor adjustments.
Ensure automation processes comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
Report issues with any tool pack or secondary equipment to the Automation department.
Organize the current tool package and main frames.
