About The Position

Kodak Moments Colorado is seeking a motivated college student intern currently enrolled in an electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering undergraduate program. This is a part-time (10-20 hours per week) internship during the academic year, designed to provide hands-on experience while accommodating class schedules. Work hours are flexible to support academic commitments and the position will be on-site at our manufacturing facility in Windsor, CO. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop and enhance automation and robotic processes while working closely with senior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering (or a related field) and completed first year of study by internship start date.
  • 3.0 GPA minimum.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to use electrical test equipment.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues using various tools.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Experience with Solidworks or other CAD software.
  • Experience with Solidworks Electrical or similar software for wiring documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to present work and accept constructive feedback during design reviews.
  • Ability to conduct research through online resources and written documentation.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and work effectively in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas to peers and management.
  • Initiative in project management.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of robotic operations in our manufacturing processes.
  • Assisting with the electrical and mechanical design and support of new and existing manufacturing equipment.
  • Supporting process quality monitoring projects across various equipment.
  • Improving existing processes and equipment (i.e. improving quality output, increasing throughput, etc.).
  • Reviewing and updating outdated technical documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with current standards and practices.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $21-$25 per hour - Based on year of study
