About The Position

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated tests for critical user flows, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and performing hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing. The engineer will work with developers and product teams to improve testability and acceptance criteria, investigate failures, manage test data and environments, and help ensure reliable test coverage.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of QA automation experience, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO plus Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native applications, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.
