About The Position

This is a hands-on role for a problem solver who enjoys diagnosing and repairing sensitive, high-precision hardware. The technician will build and maintain automation equipment from the ground up, troubleshoot multi-system issues, and collaborate with engineers to ensure equipment operates at peak performance. This role requires attention to detail and directly impacts production through technical skills.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical or engineering environment
• Exposure to multiple engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software)
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools like multimeters, calipers, feeler gauges, and microscopes
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to engineers and operators

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble custom automation equipment from the ground up, including mechanical, electrical, and optical components
• Diagnose and repair equipment issues hands-on, replacing parts, re-soldering connections, re-aligning optics, and re-calibrating sensors
• Calibrate and maintain equipment within precise tolerances using tools like calipers, feeler gauges, and microscopes
• Work across hardware domains including cameras and lenses, machined parts, computer components, electrical systems, and 3D-printed parts
• Troubleshoot alongside engineers and interface with operators to translate floor-level observations into actionable diagnostic information
