About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting automation systems, including robotics and conveyors. The technician will perform preventive and scheduled maintenance, conduct root cause analysis, and document maintenance activities. The position requires the ability to work in a cold environment and be on-call.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- 2 plus years of related experience
- Must be available to work any day/any shift and flexible to be on call
Nice To Haves
- Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in robotics and conveyors, specifically with Dematic and Yaskawa systems, to assess and resolve maintenance issues promptly
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and other scheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct root cause analysis on failed systems and procedures to understand underlying issues and implement effective solutions
- Document minor maintenance issues in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for follow-up, including detailing walkthrough observations and any actions taken
- Capability to perform tasks in a cold environment for prolonged periods
- Other duties as assigned
