The Automation Maintenance Mechanic supports all manufacturing processes by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and installing automated equipment including, but not limited to, robots, conveyors, hoppers, pumps, low voltage sensors, and pneumatic valves, etc. This position requires excellent mechanical skills as well as good communication, organization and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will work closely with other mechanics and engineers to resolve related production issues similar but not limited to high scrap and low cycle time. Job Summary: The Automation Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated manufacturing equipment and systems within BD Infusion Therapy Systems, Inc.'s production facilities. This role ensures optimal operational efficiency and minimizes downtime through expert mechanical, electrical, and controls support.
