Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments and gloves.
Frequently sits for 4-6 hours per day.
May stand; bends and twists neck and waist for 2-4 hours per day.
Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
Ability to make precise coordinated movements, of the fingers to grasp and manipulate objects.
Occasionally walks.
Frequent foot movements.
Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 50lbs.
Near vision and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and to 20/100 in the other eye.

Performs tasks by following a set of written or oral instructions/procedures.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and oversee project management from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and commissioning.
Act as a technical expert, providing support for systems like DCS, PLC, SCADA, BAS, and validation processes.
Foster a collaborative and cooperative work environment while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP).
Use your problem-solving expertise to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes.
Provide after-hours support, as needed, to ensure project success.
Work within a project team, teamwork, schedule adherence, execution, start-up, commissioning, owner interaction, qualifications
Provide support in designated area/field. Depending on assignment, this may be DCS, PLC, SCADA, BAS, Robotics, Validation, Manufacturing and Utilities Areas.
Will be responsible for providing excellent communications (verbal/written) within area of responsibility.
Use/demonstrate problem solving skills to best support and meet the needs within area of responsibility.
Promotes a collaborative and cooperative environment which embraces the ability to work effectively within teams.
Capable of adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) - Compliance, Change Control, Quality Oversight, Validation.
After hours support may be required.

Proficient at leading small-scale projects, budget, planning, scheduling, logistics, procurement, communication, bid oversight, construction management, routine updates, qualifications.
May support development of standards and provide expertise to management.
Expert at leading medium/small scale projects, budget, planning, scheduling, logistics, procurement, communication, bid oversight, construction management, routine updates, qualifications.
Provide SME Leadership in designated area/field. Depending on assignment, this may be DCS, PLC, SCADA, BAS, Robotics, Validation, Manufacturing and Utilities Areas.
Expert at leading large-scale projects, budget, planning, scheduling, logistics, procurement, communication, bid oversight, construction management, routine updates, qualifications.
If assigned as Area lead; Provide support for process issues, troubleshooting, continuous improvement projects, system administration, and providing point of contact to Operations personnel.
Supervise other Automation engineers or staff. Maintains accountability; Oversee employee career path, training plan, performance evaluation, and development opportunities; Oversee employee career path, training plan, performance evaluation, and development opportunities; Coaches, counsels, manages and directs personnel in appropriate assignments relative to priorities, sense of urgency and utilization of skill sets. Performs resource planning for the group; Frequently interacts cross-functionally with peer managers. Normally requires the ability to resolve conflict and work out solutions between groups; and, communicates higher level decisions/vision in the context of how it matters to the employees.
