About The Position

Wipro Limited is seeking an Automation Engineer with Python expertise to join their team in Dearborn, MI. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts, integrating AI/LLM tools to enhance testing processes, and collaborating with automotive domain teams. The engineer will analyze test results, resolve defects, and maintain test documentation. Requirements

5–8 years of professional experience in Python development and test automation
Experience in Automotive infotainment, ADAS, telematics or EV/HEV systems, vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
Practical experience with AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/LLMs, AI-based test generation or log-analysis tools) to improve productivity, test coverage, or defect detection
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, smoke, integration)
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Infotainment - Automotive
Experience: 5-8 Years

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python
Build and execute test suites using pytest or similar frameworks for integration and functional testing
Integrate AI/LLM-based tools to accelerate test case generation, log analysis, defect triage, or code review
Collaborate with automotive domain teams (ADAS, infotainment etc.) to understand test requirements
Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with engineering and lab teams to resolve defects
Maintain test documentation, coverage reports, and traceability matrices
