About The Position

The Automation Engineer tests, creates, implements, and supports robotic process and desktop automations. The role designs, scripts, tests, implements, maintains, and modifies automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk. It creates comprehensive test plans and cases, defines automation data needs across systems, coordinates test data, and runs performance tests to verify expected automation performance. The engineer investigates, analyzes, and resolves technical problems with clients and technical staff; documents automation capabilities and operating procedures; estimates project tasks, timelines, costs, and effort; and assesses organizational needs and the feasibility of automation opportunities. In the TravelBank role, the engineer builds scalable UI, API, and end-to-end test automation frameworks, develops automated test solutions, integrates testing into CI/CD, leads automation work with minimal supervision, mentors engineers, and evaluates AI-powered testing approaches.
