Job Summary Develops, designs, builds and tests robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Creates an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications. Requirements

  • Required education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree Discipline/Major: Technical Training
  • Exposure to Fanuc Robotics and Yaskawa Motoman robotics experience a plus
  • Exposure to Allen Bradley, Siemens and Unitronics PLC’s a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assists engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components.
  • Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or automated components.
  • Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings.
  • Investigate and troubleshoots defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance.
  • Trouble shooting using Studio 5000.
  • Repairing, installing, and diagnosing sensors/alarms in a production setting.
  • Serve as the first level technical response to errors, mechanical, and electrical issues on the process line.
