Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and company-paid coursework through Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC), you'll build a foundation in automation, robotics, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance. This program is designed for people who enjoy working with technology, solving problems, and learning how things work. No four-year degree required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in technology
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Commitment to completing apprenticeship coursework

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience
• Automotive, mechanical, electrical, or technical hobbies
• Vocational or technical education experience
• Experience working with tools or equipment

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting automated equipment
• Support machinery installations and process improvements
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities
• Learn to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Work alongside experienced technicians and engineers
• Complete apprenticeship coursework and training requirements
• Apply new skills in a real manufacturing environment
