About The Position

This position requires the assembling of parts according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Lead or Supervisor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform Sub Assembly, General Assembly, Wiring, Adjustment and Shipping Prep on LST / ROS. Be able to use torque wrenches to specification. Capable of rigging complete machine with overhead crane. Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Assembling units as directed by the trainer, Lead or Supervisor with quality in mind in a specified time frame. Performed adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications using schematics and/or engineering documentation. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. May be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary. Supporting company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, ISO policies, and good manufacturing practices. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Regularly perform repetitive tasks Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea. Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others. Communicate and enforce corporate environmental, health, and safety program. Fill out forms, as needed.

Requirements

  • Must have assembly experience.
  • Must be able to use Hand Tools and Power Tools.
  • Must be able to use the metric system.
  • Basic reading skills.
  • Must be able to follow directions.
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
  • Must be able to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • High School education preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift and Overhead Crane Preferred.
  • ISO experience a plus.
