As an Automation Assembly Technician, you will collaborate with a team to assemble and wire automation equipment based on provided schematics, while conducting necessary testing. You will ensure equipment meets project cost and schedule objectives by assembling, testing, and debugging machinery, utilizing both electrical/pneumatic schematics and CAD drawings throughout the process.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience assembling, testing, and troubleshooting automation equipment or machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team to assemble automation equipment and perform electrical wiring of automation systems according to provided schematics.
  • Assemble, test, and debug automation equipment to meet project cost and schedule objectives, utilizing drawings or electrical/pneumatic schematics.
  • Work closely with mechanical and electrical designers, as well as the inside sales team, to identify and resolve issues during the assembly process.
  • Monitor and update project status regularly, ensuring alignment with project details and bringing any technical or safety concerns to the attention of the supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation equipment as needed, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Utilize CAD drawings or electrical/pneumatic schematics for machinery assembly
